Right so i usually get the runs from drinking too much milk. it was pretty hard i havent been eating any fibre recently and my ass was bleeding after i took a shit. not much though just when i wiped it, its happened before. what fibre apart from fruit would you recommend, i eat alot of protein so i hate top fill up on that other stuff. also the color is pretty abnormal a really light brown and it isnt the same texture. takin a shit hurts, its like my ass isnt wide enough to get the crap out.
any thoughts?
 
Psyllium husk and ground flax seed are good, although I haven't tried any other forms for comparison. Be ready to crap on the side of the road if you don't have constant access to a bathroom - but at least you won't have to wipe or aggravate your 'roids. Really green foods and probiotics might help your digestion too. You might want to avoid the milk as well.
 
My advice would be to eat more insoluble fibre such as wholegrains (oats), the skin of veggies and fruit, nuts/ANPB/ground seeds (flax) and dried beans. This will promote bowel regularity.

Also, eating more soluble fibre such as veggies, fruit, oat bran and dried beans will also be of benefit in controlling blood sugar levels and reducing the amount of insulin required.

Learn to enjoy these foods... any diet without them is incomplete.

Also, you might want to cut the milk for a while and see what happens.
 
lactose intolerance is very common especially as we move out of childhood-milk is for cows and babies!

a good supplement is super seed by garden of life. it has a good mix of slouble and insoluble fiber. plus a gram of flax lignan per serving (anti-estrogen properties).

food sources other that fruit and those already mentioned:
whole oats
flax lignans
any vegetable but preferably, cruciferous (broccoli, califlauer) are good insoluble sources.
spinach
however i would throwin some apples for the soluble sources.
also all nuts and seeds have some good fiber.
walnuts have omega-3 so they are your best choice
 
where would i get flaxseeds? do they get sold in gardening shops or the grocers?
Im at college so eating vegatables is difficult. i dont know what to get or how to cook it.
 
You should be able to find ground flaxseeds at your local grocery store. If not, a health food store will have them. Just make sure the seeds are already GROUND, otherwise the seeds will just come out the other end and you won't be getting the benefits of the fibre, fat and proteins.

As for the veggies, buy some pre-packaged garden salads from your local grocery to take to college and some frozen veggies which you can just steam, stir-fry or even nuke in the microwave and add flavour/spices for when you are at home.

Well at 5-7 maels a day and a good amount of fiber throguhout the day as well, I shit at least 2x a day, sometimes 3x. And when I have to shit, that's it, everything stops and I gotta shit NOW!
