Between Bed and Dinner Snack

Whats a good snack before about an hour bed?
This if for my wife - I take a proten shake but she wont touch it. But she is starving.....

Nothing to high carb as she is maintaining weight right now and doesnt want to add to it.

Other issue is she is allergic to eggs, and hates cottege cheese.

So what are we left with?
Again Low Carb Low Fat......

Thanks in advance

If you want low carb and low fat that means you want high protein but you don't want a protein shake or cottage cheese.. so the only other choice is chicken or extra lean ground turkey, or similar. You're not giving yourself a lot of options here.

I think you should go with all natural peanut butter (only ingredients should be peanuts and salt)... takes a long time to digest, has lots of healthy fats and some protein... this is a great before bed snack. All fats are not bad and you're better off if you end that mentality now.

Another option is try sprinkling sugar free jello powder on some low fat cottage cheese, it makes the taste 2,000% better as long as long as u get some sugar free jello crystals in every bite.

My wife eats a small bowl of Protein Special K cereal with some soy milk. I have tried it and it tastes pretty good. Add a few fresh blueberries makes it even better.

Here is the nutrition info:

Special K Protein Plus 3/4 cup of cereal
14-carbs
5-fiber
10-protein

Soy Milk (Vanilla)
3-carbs
3-sugars
8-protein

I hope this helps.

Well you see, she is in her optimum shape, figure, low BF, and doesnt want to gain or loose any weight. She trains 6 days a week 3 cardio 3 resistance. She always complains she is so hungry about 2 hours after dinner and we usually go to bed 3 hours after dinner. She doesnt want a protein shake???? Dont ask me??? but doesnt want to start adding more cals to her VERY clean diet. So I here what everyone is saying so I have said DEAL WITH IT!!! but dont want to here the complaints anymore hahahaha -

What the best peanut butter to get - she may go for that one -

Anything with the ingredients just peanuts and salt or even sodium free just peanuts.

I use Nature's Promise or Maple Grove farms.

peanuts, protein shake, carrots, other raw veggies. A giant bag of Doritos will also cure those hunger pangs. :D

Yep - Through the peanut butter option at her and she was all over it -

Appreciate the help - You have relieved me of some hunger whining;-)

before best, protein + fat, PB is great but it can be easily overeaten.

def. do NOT eat Protein Special K cereal with some soy milk before bed.
