Cuts

I've been wearing loose fitting t-shirts to the gym since November or so... b/c I'd put on some fat last summer drinking. So for 4 months now I've been cutting. Just the other day, we had a "warm" day here in Chicago (40 degrees), so I decide to wear a fitted tank top to the gym.

I trained chest, delts, and tris and BOOM! I must say I looked pretty good... not huge or super powerful, but pumped, tanned and CUT. So many dudes & chicks were doing double takes... the dudes especially--some of which are much bigger & stronger than me, but not at all cut--were doing that peripheral vision thing trying to check my physique out without my noticing.

Big strong dudes are a dime a dozen, but for this lifter anyway, being CUT and DEFINED is the way to go! Anybody agree? Disagree?

I wish I could feel ya bro. That happened to me when I cut from 250-203, now I am cutting again as I bulked back up to around 212, and want to get down to around 195 for Triatholon Training. I find that my weight is a little high for running 6 miles and biking 25 miles and swimming 1 mile, but damn I do like to work out.

im tryin to get cut right now, ive gone from 250 to 213 and im pleased with the way its goin, another month or so and i should be decently cut. then its tiem for bulking.

I understand what you're saying, but I've gotta disagree man. Cut people are everywhere. At every gym in every city, there are dozens of them cruisin away on the stairmasters. The thing I find rare and have respect for is the guy that has a look of functional power. Not too huge, not necessarily cut, but you can just feel the fucker walk past you.

Also,

Getting cut is simply a matter of diet.

True size is years and years of diet, training, and dedication

I have a friend who is 6'2" and ripped at 170...a dime a dozen to me.

I'll take being freakishly big any day...I get quite a few looks from people...even with my clothes on.

I would rather be big and strong and useful for athletic events instead of looking like a hollywood yuppie who is following the latest craze.

I could care less if I turn heads. My training is not meant for impressing other people. People need to mind their own business anyway.

For me getting cut is easy, but in order to do this I must sacrifice strength. . . .that is not in my agenda.

i respect anyone who takes the time to improve their physiques....

anyone who does something besides side on their fat blob of an ass and stuff their fat faces with garbage deserves some credit.
