Are three eggs for breakfast everyday bad?

I have added eggs recently to my breakfast just because I was sick of what I was eating. I'm eating all of the eggs, not just whites, so I ask is this bad for one's health? This is a lot of cholesterol and such, and I'm not really sure as to which theories on eggs are actually true (Some say they are good, some say they are bad). I'm an active dude who runs a lot and drinks tons of water as well, so maybe any ill effects would be neutralized due to that. Any ideas?

whole, there was actually a good thread (with a study to back it up) saying that egg whites are not a very effective form of protein, something to do with fat AND protein being eaten together as an egg should!

but 8 everyday is EXCESSIVE!!!!!!!!!! 40g of sat. fat + the cholesterol..........might want to cut back....way back....like 2 yolks and 6 whites........and BTW, dont believe EVERYTHING you read........

8 whole eggs might sound excessive, but in light of me cosuming 10-12 whole eggs a day ...:o
people we're athletes here (supposedly), therefore if you are concerned with cholesterol, then rest assured it's not the eggs, or saturated fats for that matter, are not the culprit - look into other aspects of your nutrition, lifestyle, and even genetics (inherent predisposition or an autoimmune response), ergogenic aids (steroids are illegal :) )
my doc conducts blood tests on almost a 2-3month basis - they're all impeccable (although this by no means constitutes a definitive conclusion about ingestion of 10+ eggs or saturated fats, so don't quote me as advocating anything :o )

If you actually read a box of eggs, for every 7g of fat (1egg) only 1.6 is saturated!

If you eat them for a long period of time you may develop allergies...

I'm not sure three per day will harm you if you are an athlete. The general rule now is two per WEEK for most people, but that means inactive people. If you can, get regular blood lipid profiles (we should all do that anyway).

The WHOLE egg is very high quality protein, while just the white is less so, but still pretty good. You don't need fat with protien for the umteenth time!
