Abs before bed, do I need PW drink??

I did a light ab workout (3 exercises at 2 sets of 20) about 45 minutes before bed. I am going to eat before bed, a carb fat and protein meal including eggs, whey, yogurt, flax, cottage cheese, Blueberries, Brown Rice. It sounds like a lot but that's not the point of this thread.

I was wondering if I needed a dextrose + Whey drink after the abs. It was only bodyweight exercises and no plates or anything. Does anyone have an opinion or an answer. Thank you.
 
No, you are not really depleting a signifigant amount of muscle glycogen with a light abe workout. The insulin spike is of little benefit, and will serve only to results in bf gains.
 
i seem to remember reading an article saying that going to bed with an insulin surge/spike can interfere with your rem patterns.
