2nd Week Update!

Is It Possible?

I Am Doing Everything Right And I Only Lost 2lbs This Week.....i Started At 310 And Was 296 Last Sunday....today I Am 294. I Am Eating 6 Times Per Day And I Haven't Cheated Once This Week. Is It Possible That Lifting Heavy Weights Has Slowed Down My Loss?
 
Have you measured your waist, arms, quads, etc.?? Have you had your BF checked? Are your clothes feeling loose on you? Are you breathing better when you walk up stairs? How are your cravings?

Don't rely too much on the scale. Take some measurements. Look at other things that come with eating better.

HEY NYC GIRL I AM IN NYC TOO! I FEEL 10000X BETTER THAN I DID TWO WEEKS AGO. THINGS FIT BETTER MY ENERGY LEVEL IS INSANE AND I AM LOOKING FOWARD TO GETTING DOWN TO 240. I JUST SUCH A CONFIDENCE BOOSTER WHEN I LOST 14LBS LAST WEEK AND TO WORK REALLY HARD THIS WEEK AND SEE A 2LB DROP IS A LITTLE UPSETTING.

The 14lbs was likely water weight.

Don't worry about the scale. Last March, I was 138. When I weighed myself in April, I was 137. However, my bodyfat went down 5% and I dropped a size.

Yes, it can be upsetting when the scale doesn't move much. You should purchase a caliper to test your bodyfat. I rather be 134lbs and 20% of fat, than 134 and 40% fat. :)

Yes, anything's possible.


Congratz... I agree with NYCG.... most likely huge water drop at first. Now your probably seeing true fat loss.

Scale = Devil.

Go by the mirror and measuring tape.

Since you're lifting heavy (which is great!) you may even put on some new muscle so you won't nessesarily see the scale move, when in fact you may be loosing inches.

you dont want more than 2#'s of weight loss a week anyway, means you are probably dropping muscle too.....and thats bad. This is why people who starve diet end up at a higher bodyfat % at the same weight (when they inevidently put the weight back on)
 
If you keep your siet very strict and stay HARD on the training it is possible...Its not going to be an easy road...Im sort of in the same boat just a smaller size, I want to go from 189 to about 165...Im following a CKD style diet, and just trying to go as hard as possible on the workouts.

Just stay at it, dont cheat, and stay on top of your work outs and Im sure ull be you can get right around your goal.

You better have have strong will power if you wanna achieve that goal. Its do-able... but going to be very difficult.
