Why am I more vascular on my diet cheating days?

So if this is happening to me does this mean that I am carb depleted the rest of the time? I'm not intentionally trying to cut right now and was trying to put on some mass without getting fat. I've been having a hard time gaining weight lately. Could this be a sign that I'm not eating enough carbs throughout the week?

more than likely. although you could be eating adequate carbs.....but all the extra on the cheat day supercompensates and swells you up. how many carbs you eat a day? that would figure it out right there.

I would say so, if you want to put on mass you can't be afraid to put on some fat along with it. Trying to gain mass and lose fat at the same time, only works on the first cycle IMO. How does you diet look like right now??
