Whole Wheat Bread Question / Carbs

Hello,

Heres my question. I didn't buy Light bread...just wasnt thinking when i was at store...heres my question as i am cutting...

can i just rip off the crust and portions of it to lower my carb intake/ or is the crust good for me....

am i losing anything by throwing out the crust???

thanks

Well the crust is just the darker edge of the bread that gets a little more cooked while baking. Its not like a skin on a fruit which provides fiber. So if you didn't eat the crust you would be just lowering your calorie intake. But you could just eat on slice instead of two. If you are that concerned about carbs, you may just want to skip the bread all together and just replace it with some veggies. I dont know what you goals are.

well 2 slices have 20g's of carbs...so if i rip off a bunch of it i can lower it down to around 10-12g's...

my carb values need to be from 125-175 per day...so it isn't that bad...

danks

at 125 per day and training id make sure you incorporate a carb up at least once or twice a week
