they're the only parents we're ever gonna have. One day they'll be gone and none of the trivial bullshit is gonna matter anymore.

I wish I knew that when I was a teenager.

sometimes older people can be a pain in the ass, but I try to be nice and just let it go, cause they will die sooner than me (most likely)

that said, I would not have let her pick out all that shit, or make any other decisions for me at all.

omg my mother is the same way...she will get pissy storm off slam doors refuse to eat and will ignore you for weeks unless she gets her own way....she comes into my house and acts like she owns it....she is a severe pack rat and saves every thing...she will pick through the trash here cause my hubby throws a lot of shit away.then she will flip out on him because he threw away a b day card...lol......he tells her all the time this is not her house and all that shit but she dont stop...then she insults our intellegence on a daily basis...i dont raise my kids right....the couch cover is not the right color....i need a better table or my son needs a better swing and she tries to tell me where to move my furniture...and omg she pisses me the hell off...she loves being in control...her famous saying is "now what you are going to do is........." she is a receptionist at a docs office while having 4 different degrees and going for her 5th....all the girls call her the boss cause she is sooo bossy....wow what a post....lol @ myself for venting like a crazy lady......
