I have used every excuse in the book why my diet falls apart and why I am not consistent at the gym.
Hopefully, all that stops here. I am going to take a page from the ladies and write down what I eat each day and what I do at the gym. I will also write why I screw up eating better or miss the the gym. Get ready for some bullshit!
260+ is not cutting it. I need to get back to 230.
A little background. I was in a car accident last year and I have two herniated disks. One is crushing a nerve root.
I also destroyed my Labrum in my shoulder. I completely dislocated my arm and tore ligaments from the bone. The dr cranked it as tight as he could and I have limited movement.
Well, f*ck excuses I want to look good again.
 
I forgot. 6'3" 260 or so. Not sure on the body fat. I would guess 24%> I can see the outline of some abbs but I am as far from shredded as there is.
I have my work cut out!
 
I wish you the absolute best of luck you've been a great help over the years here on EF so I know you know what it takes! Missing the gym isn't the end of the world but staying on that diet will do everything for you. I can sympathize with the back pain, I hope you can get back in the training and feel alright cause above all quality of life matters most. But if you can be 6'3" 230 with abs and feel good...that'd be pretty nice! YOU CAN DO IT!!!

Tonight I had low grade protein. About 40g's of sausage. Took some omega 3, 6 & 9 with dinner.
Just took 3 Somalyze to help me sleep. That plan is to get up at 6am and go to the gym before work! I am not a morning person (that is unless I have not slept yet and I am still up).

Sausage while trying to drop fat? Everyone once and a while is OK, but don't make a habit out of it. :cool:

You know what it takes and you can do this. It's all about consistency. Once you get that diet in check along with the cardio you will get those results you're after.
 
How do you like the Somalyze? Is that the fatburner/sleep aid with Usnic acid? I'm thinking about trying that out along with lipolyze.
 
Slat bro, I'm in almost the same boat as you are. Last year I was layed up in the hospital for about a solid month with horrible stomach pains. Turns out that it is a rare bacteria that attacks my immune system and my gastro system. There is no cure only treatment, and since I had three operations and my bowels had been soo backed up for months prior I ended up gaining til I am now pushing 280+ and I usually hover around 220 @ 6'2". By the way I got this bacteria durring a deployment and my gov that I love so much won't cover it so Im now 100+k in the hole. Just recently have I felt enough motivation to start dieting and training again and I have now for 5 weeks but the progress is going slow and just last night I almost threw in the towel. I did cheat a bit but I'll make up for it today.

Oh, and since this bacteria(I can't spell or pronounce it so just take my word for it) attacks my immune system I have found that I am constantly tired and the weight is coming off VERY slow and working out is the hardest thing to bring myself to do. I going next week to get my blood levels checked and my thyroid cause I feel they may be suffering a bit.( I get it done free since I work in a hospital so I'll keep all my levels checked throughout this process.

I look like I shit and feel like shit and I hate going anywhere anymore because I bet when people look at me they think, wow, he let himself go to shit since he came back, So bro I KNOW where you are coming from.

Best of luck with you man and keep your progress posted so I can have a little motivation knowing I'm not the only EFer going through this.

That is horrible. I can only imagine trying to get the motivation going.
My problem is stress. I realized that when it got piled on again today at work. Overworked and under paid.
I need to start looking for another job. I am involved in other ventures but my primary source of income is not what it was promised to be.
When I am stressed I eat. It sucks.
I need to get up and work out in the morning. That way I can still eat the proper meals at the proper times. If I try to do it at night everything get screwed up. My schedule says out at 5pm. Its more like 7 to 8pm now and I never know what it is going to be. So I am starving when I leave and I am not motivated for the gym.
This getting old thing and worrying about money sucks! Ahhhhh to be in my 20's again!
Anyway I did okay this morning then blew it at lunch.

Breakfast: 60grms prtn w/ half cup of oatmeal in water
Beverly Super pack.

11am: 40grms prtn via Salmon

2pm: SMALL PIZZA.... crap.

Nothing since then. Stupid job.

Lets hope tomorrow is better.

I like it. I don't really notice any fat loss. It does help me sleep though. Every bit helps I guess.
