Shelled Peanuts.........

This is my "5 minute before bed" snack with cottage cheese..........I'm just thinking I'm eating too many.......how would you measure the macros for peanuts in the shell.........I prob. eat 4-5 pretty large handfuls, which is probably around 30 peanuts.........60 if there are two in a shell.........this too many calories to consume before bed?

Which would be a better meal if I train late night, slam my pw shake, shower etc and by the time I can get a meal in, it's time to crash........

60 OR SO PEANUTS
1 CUP DRY CURD COTTAGE CHEESE
LARGE CASEIN SHAKE OR..........

BOWL OF VEGGIES (CELERY, BROC, ZUCCHINNI, ETC)
30 PEANUTS 1/2 THE AMOUNT AS ABOVE
LARGE CASEIN SHAKE

I like the first option better myself. Not a huge fan of vegtables before bed.

I like to eat a good chunk of protein and health fats. I might have 8ounces of chicken breast and 1 tbsp of flax oil, or 6 whole eggs. I'm dieting right now though, so normally I would eat a bit more before bed.

Last night I had my favorite snack: 1c CC, a scoop of chocolate whey, and 4 tbsp ANPB. Tastes amazing (like a Reese's PB Cup) and it gives me 700 cals, 70g protien, 37g fat, 21g carbs. Is that too much to eat, an hour before bed?

I personally don't see anything wrong with eatign veggies before bed tho..

If your goal is to add mass, I would say nope!
