Hey, i've been thinking about improving my body composition for along time now i would like to give my body more definition. The thing is i don't no where to start! I regularly exercise by doing basketball, netball and my martial art i also go to the gym, cycle, swim and use my punch bag. i need help though with a diet and exercise plan. i want to become more defined but i don't no how to reach my goal please help!
 
Well, definition is all about low body fat %. You can start by:

1. Have your current body fat % tested (most gyms will do this) or get a body fat scale (they are off, but it will give you an idea where to begin).

2. Trace real objectives for your cutting: How many lbs in how many months.

3. Buy a Heart Rate monitor: If you are serious about this thing, it is money well spent.

Read a bit on the diets, I don't recommend biased diets (a la ckd) but that is only me. I am all for balanced diets that include all typs of macros.

Once you have put together a baseline diet, from the info in the board, we can then finetune from that point. (your bf% it is really important for this, though).
