Question about carb-up days

Im currently in my 4th day of the anpb diet, and know that mr x says that the first carb up day or refeed should be 12-14 days after you have started the diet. What is the reasoning behind this? Would it be ok to carb up in 7-9 days or would this be detrimental to progress?

It won't be detrimental, just a little better if you wait 12-14 days.
You are still in the beginning stages of the diet, so the body still hasn't realized what's happening, thus your metabolism is still working fine, thus you don't need a carb-up so soon.

my daily diet is the ANPB diet to the tee. 6 meals, one every 2-3 hours, 3tblsp natty pb and a scoop of whey. There was no way that i thought i would be able to stick to this, but the natty pb has really kicked any cravings and is pretty filling. I like the idea of knowing exactly what it is that im taking in. Energy levels also have not suffered so far, and im on my 5th day w/ no cheating at all. Looks like im going to see how flat i look after the first 14 days then decide when to carb up.

Post some feedback during the next week about flatness and cravings and what not, because I need to cut in a week and I am not sure if I wanna do ANPB or CKD.
