Nothing but triples for strength. Anything over 3 reps=warmup

I also feel I get more from using speed work and heavy 1-3 rep work together, but on different days, (No shit, right Spatts?:)) rather than just "speed" type work all the time. Which what I thought you were talking about. And if it is, then I am very glad you have found what obviously works very well for you.:)

I did me, too. Until I started following WSB more correctly, and disciplined myself to do my DE days AS DE, and leave the really heavy stuff for my ME days.:)

Well, I was doing 230-245 at 15, though I weighed 150-155. I was a good bodybuilder at that age but nothing dumbfounding.

im not trying to talk smack it just pisses me off when someone says sumthing like that thinking i have no clue what im talking about. i kno what wrks for me n thas what i do!! My bad if it came out like that but i was already in a bad mood that day n it pisses me off!!

Sorry to hear that. I know it's not easy when you feel people pass judgment on you simply because you're young. I still get that occassionally at 25 *shrugs*

I find that interesting.

The Russian's don't do it this way.

Science and Practice of Strength Training says on page 97,

"In auxiliary strength excercises such as squatting with a barbell, where motor coordination only partially resembles the coordination in the snatch and clean and jerk, the number of repititions in one set increases. In barbell squats, for instance, the number of lifts varies from 1 to 10, with the average range being 3 to 6."
