My first REAL DIET, PLEASE READ

POSTED IT OVER IN DIET AND NOBODY GOT BACK TO ME

Hi folks, any chance somebody or a few of you'd could give my up in-coming diet a once over. Ive been training on and off for 3years but never actually stuck to a diet. Let me know how it is for my goal

Im dropping the weight lifting for a few months now till i loose a good bit of bf.
STATS
Im 21 245lbs 5 11

the reason why im taking too smoothies per day is my job, im sitting at an office desk all day and cant get anything else, the cateen serves nufing but junk.

GOAL
So basiclly i wana cut out a eating crap and loose bout 20lbs.

My planned diet and exercise regime

Wake up 6 am and 30mins cardio

7am
Bowl of oats with low fat milk

9.30 am
Smoothie consisting of 4 fruits with low fat milk

12pm
will be different most days but will consist of either
pasta,tuna&sweetcorn OR chicken,rice&vegies OR spagettie Bolognese

2.30pm
Same as 9.30am meal

4.30pm
30-40 mins cardio

5.30pm
same as 12pm meal

10pm bed
 
You aren't eating near enough protein. I am afraid that all the smoothies are sugar laden and that is definitely not gonna result in optimal weight loss. You need to eat more lean meat. Are you only doing cardio and not doing any weight training?

rlpace smoothy with protein shake.

and do some weight training.
 
Conrad, DROP da pasta. Eat lean steak or chicken or tuna. Add 3 low myoplex shakes instead of those smoothies. Cut out all sugar carbs.
 
cheers guys, at the minute im trying just to loose as much fat as i can this is why im doing cardio morning and evening mon-fri. would some weight training before evening cardio be a benefit??

so best thing then is DROP PASTA AND SMOOTHIE and replace pasta with a lean meat and the 2smoothies with a protein drink.

Try this:

Wake up 6 am and 30mins cardio

7am
Bowl of oats with low fat milk, 1/2 cup of cottage cheese

OR

Bowl of oats with low fat milk, 2 scoops of low carb/no carb protein in water

9.30 am
Smoothie consisting of 2 scoops of protein powder, with one piece of fruit (try to shy away from tropical stuff... pineapple etc... too much sugar... berries work well...) and mix this in water

12pm
will be different most days but will consist of either
pasta,tuna&sweetcorn OR chicken,rice&vegies OR spagettie Bolognese

Replace the sweet corn with either Broccoli, Spinach, Green Beans, Brussel Sprouts, or Asparagus... basically anything green... steam it... and eat it... drop the pasta as well... try and eat your carbs in the AM... the oats earlier on are fine... if you HAVE to have some starch... eat it before 2pm, and make sure it's brown rice, rather then white... whole wheat pasta rather then the regular stuff... for chicken... eat breast meat, not dark meat... and season it.. stay away from sauces... especially creamy ones... :)

2.30pm
Same as 9.30am meal

4.30pm
30-40 mins cardio

5.30pm
same as 12pm meal

This you gotta change... drop the carbs completely... 1/2 to 1 cup of cottage cheese will work great... or a protein shake made with ONLY protein powder, and water...

10pm bed



As well... get some Udo's 3-6-9 blend oil... take one tablespoon in the morning, and one at night before bed...

Make sure to drink around .66 x BW in oz of water (eg... 200lbs x .66 = 132oz of water or 1 gallon roughly)
 
lean meats (ground turkey, chicken, tuna, eggwhites) green veggies, fiberous carbs (brown rice, potatos, oats, whole wheat pasta) healthy fats (anpb, flax oil, olive oil)

protein + healthy fat = ok
protein + fiberous carb = ok

eat every 2-3 hours

at least one gallon of water a day

take a multi

avoid carbs late in the day

Those arent fibrous carbs, they are starchy carbs
 
i meant green beans and broccoli...mushrooms etc as fibrous carbs...messed up on the punctuation marks lol thx for pointing that out though....was just about to edit :)
