Sassy I think you missed my post, I did have 2 potatoes yesterday and a banana too, I still feel the same though.

And kbekqt I don't know what you're talking about, lol I've never eaten less than 50g of carbs, well maybe once when I carb depleted for my 1st show but I don't even think they were that low.

you accept your 5lbs ... omg i'm still adjusting the scale (you know that turning thing..lol) so that i trick myself into thinking its only 5lbs :worried:

I can feel your delima right now sugar. I'm still not sure if I can do another show and remain healthy. I know where i need improvements and I have to do that before July.. if i do another show then it may set me back alot.


Just please keep us update with your results and do some experimenting this weekend.... OK so not an entire cheescake like I did but give your body a little more and see if it helps.. hee hee

I will definiately keep you all posted, I really hope it's only something missing in my diet.

Thank you for your concern ladies, it really means alot to me, to know that I have some fabulous ladies that I can call my friends that care about my happiness and well-being :)

Oh and I think I'll have a whole cheesecake this weekend and tell my trainer my good friend Frisky told me too ;) Ok ok maybe not!
 
I think for women gaining muscle is a difficult proposition since we have the added societal pressure to stay lean. Men dont have to deal with this kind of pressure, so when they bulk its far easier for them to just focus on the business of eating big and training hard.

the last time I pursued a serious bulking phase, I had to remind myself almost daily that a fat to muscle gain ratio of 1:1 would be a fantastic achievement, and to expect to see the fat going on, but to focus on that new muscle that was appearing.

Went to see trainer yesterday weight was 105lbs, and still 19% bf, it didn't f*cking change in 3 weeks of dieting, and I followed the sh*t too. I was pretty pissed, and he's waiting for my blood work before changing up the diet too much, he did add in more fat, and said we're probably going to double up the calories. He just wants to make sure nothing is wrong first.

I'm really not happy right f*cking now, so I'm eating what the f*ck I want today, I also chilled with my friend Ben & Jerry last night, after going to see a movie.

But gosh boy do I know your frustration. Im bloated as hell... yikes

You are in my thoughts sugar. I hope that all the results come back ok. Eat a little, that may be what your body is asking for
 
After today, at least eat clean. Don't get all hung up on the bodyfat. Its just a number. Right now I think despite the diet & all the other stuff you should just train ,eat clean and work on making yourself feel good after a good workout. Don't get hung up on progress, the diet, etc etc etc. I think the post show rebound, the stress of staying on the diet, the low cals, etc. is just makign your body freak out & hold on to everythign it can. It doesn't knwo what to do so its doing nothing.

Focus on the goals that are productive, like a good kick ass workout, sleepign better because you are physically exhausted, etc. The rest can come in time. YOu aren't on competition schedule so why add that sort of stress as well?
