Competed 2 weekends in a row.. first weekend weighed in at 226.5. Second weekend I had dumped 250g carbs a day and was down to 218 by the Wednesday following.. got invited to another event so I started carb loading and weighed in 220 for the event.

The fuckers dumped a HW into our class.. he weighed in 244 morning of. I took him on yoke squats and Overhead medley. Was first in LW division and second in class. PROVINCIALS NEXT MONTH!! No pics yet for last event but as always i dominated overhead work but systemic fatigue slowed me in conans wheel which I lost points pushing me to second. Attached a few more pics from first july comp.
bro damn this sound like a good competition. i gotta go to one as guest lifter. bet i could lift everyone easy @rüd

bros you are a true warrior. looking strong and hardcore. lifting that iron big weights @rüd
Next year I will be in weighted class u105kg. The weight will start to surpass what I am capable of. Currently I have not yet started using switch grip for dead lift in competition and have not yet failed to do a lift. Statically in my current class I am overbuilt. I look forward to failure and refinement of strength and form that will absolutely be necessary to keep up with my peers. This has surpassed simply running a cycle and getting stronger.. the true athleticism im surrounded by in these competitions is staggering sometimes. Technique, strategy, inflammation mitigation, cns management, mental preparedness, nutrition, timing peaks and a host of other things has become my life over the past few months and I have just broke ground into this sport.

Ha! Im even looking at women differently. Im like DAM she's carrying some serious glycogen!! That slight wobble means a whole different thing to me all of a sudden when I watch a chick throw around a 150lb sand bag.

Go for it man.. I love to see a guy step out of his lane to try something new. You'll do good or get humbled real fast. Its not about lifting weight its about moving with speed under weight in an all day event.. stop starts no continual pump and momentum you can create for 60-90 seconds. If that sounds like your kind of thing you'll love it.
