Well we finally made it back home to Moses Lake, WA last night after a long day of flying and driving. We were WIPED OUT! But we got a long night sleep and woke up and decided.......
WE'RE COMPETING AGAIN THIS SATURDAY!!!!!!!! Ryan is going to go for the 800 again this Saturday in Portland, OR and see if he can pull it out. His ribs are fine, no bruise or anything and his shirt did not rip, the sound people heard was the velcro. We were just going to wait and do the APA in October up here in WA on the 12th...but that gives Mendleson a chance to break the 800 barrier first and Ryan really wants to be the first....so we really need to get a fire lit under his ass! I tried like hell to fire him up before the 801 in Houston, screaming at him and torking his nose, but the anxiety killed him and not having our team with us sucked as well.
He's ready to do it, he's strong enough and now he's felt what 800 feels like so I think he can do it. SAY YOUR PRAYERS!!!!!
As far as me...I took 1st place in my division, but I'm still not happy with my numbers, so I'm going to try to better it this Saturday, why not! My nerves got to me to the point where I got 100% no sleep the night before I lifted and I think that killed me. But now I know what a meet is like and I think I can do better this Saturday. I made Ryan proud though taking 1st in my first meet.
We'll keep you updated...........LETS GET RYAN FIRED UP!!!!!!
