Jill Mills Diet

Well, I've been training all my life drug-free. And I understand what fitmedic is saying.

However, I believe it's a small group of the general public who believe that most of these competitors are drug-free. I believe it's a greater majority who believe that a woman can't achieve any results at all w/out having to resort to sometype of androgen.

Yes, it's frustrating. Well, it was frustrating a looooong time ago for me. But I came to terms with my choice (competing drug-free) and work instead to train smarter. I believe women can acheive tremendous results w/out the use of drugs. It'll take a bit longer - so patience is very much required.

Sorry to digress this thread. I don't want to take away from what Jill Mills or any of those incredible female athletes have accomplished. The woman trains her ass off and I believe that's why she's Number One.

And you know, while their jaws may not be so "masculine" - some of those Fitness Olympia competitors are displaying other effects of drug use. Yes, they don't use as much as their bb'ing counterparts in the Olympia (obviously), but they do use, too.

I asked Nubian to post a pic I sent her comparing a female pro in-season and off-season, side by side. Note the pics were shot in the same year.

You can all figure it from there whether fat makes a difference or not.

Also remember that most if not all fitness girls are juiced, many taking in upwards of 1000 mg/wk prior to a show. The difference is mechanical loading of the jaw muscles and likely the bone structure and that's more of the difference between the BBs and fitness girls. Considering the doses of AAS they take, if they trained like BBs, they'd look like them physique wise.

Consider this, why do female PLs have thick waists? Is it all juice considering a thick waist is a male characteristic? Why do the natural female PLs complain of thick waists? Mechanical loading, which is why if you don't want to thicken the waist as much but still lift heavy, always wear a belt. It reduces the loading on the core/spinal stabilizers and thus waist thickness.

Now, can we get back to the diet part of this thread?

I agree Wilson that they are all juiced to some degree. And yes it makes sense to think that load has some contributing factor, as does type and amount of ASS, length of long term -vs- short term use. All included but not limited to what everyone has said in this thread is the reason for less than feminine qualities that female lifters possess, and yes Wilson, back to the diet...

Looks like 2 different people to me... but I know it's the same woman and it doesn't matter to me if she juices or not.. that's a personal decision and to each his own. A very good example w6. It really pisses me off when threads like this end up about AAS and how a woman looks.

But here's another question: What are we talking about here in terms of "feminine qualities"? General public/media perception? Or what many women here would consider to be "feminine qualities". I would think many of the chicks here have a different perception.

While I'm more than likely no where near the developement of many of the women on this board, I wouldn't be considered the best example (via general public/media perception) of "feminine qualities". But damn if I feel I look better in a pair of short shorts than "their" perception of "what is feminine" or even "sexy". Hell, most of the chicks here probably do. :D

Okay, 'nuff of that. Let's bring this around to the original intent: diet. What would any of you do differently if preparing for a strongwoman contest? Try different supplementation? Would you feel you need to do anything different in your diet?

Wow - very different face, depending on level of leaness. Thanks for the pics - definitely make your case, W6.

EAT A LOT for strongman/strongwoman. Being pretty means NOTHING on contest day and neither does a 6 pack of abs.

Have you ever seen Julie Havelka or Becca Swanson eat??? They have a lot of muscle to feed...

She looks like the same woman to me.
However, she has different levels of being dressed, locations, hydration, camera angles and even hair styles. These are all things that contribute to her “looking” different.
She looks fantastic drugs or no drugs- it's her business not mine. :)
