Inject in glutes, sore in hamstring

Hi,

Does somebody know why when i inject some roids in my glutes, the next day my hamstring will be very sore till it's hard to walk & impossible to sit down crossing legs. The glutes area (injection site) doesn't feel like that, just normal soreness for the first night then it goes away. I walk like a zombie & 2-3 days after injection i cannot lift weight. Anyone?

That's very odd. There are no nerves in your glute so it can't be due to injecting into a nerve.

It sounds to me like you have very tight hamstrings and injecting into your glutes is limiting your range of motion in the glute area temporarily because of the oil built up in the muscle and you are noticing the hamstring tightness even more after the injections.

Try to book a massage with a good massage therapist or get a chiropractor to perform active release in your hamstrings. I suspect you have a large build up of scar tissue in your hamstrings.

Very unusual, given you inject in glutes and it messes up your hamstrings. Are you sure you are injecting in the right area of glutes? Maybe you are doing it a bit too low

what i think is happening is when you inject you are twitching and pulling your hammy in the process

it is like a reaction

there are other spots to inject if your body doesn't like that spot.. also try a relaxing bath prior to relax those muscles.. you seem like you are jumpy and your muscles are tight
