Legs and back on the same day? You'll go to gym hell for that. That's a no-no. Keep large muscle groups separate, even if you're going easy on your legs for now.

Your new split is better than the old. Although I don't believe in devoting a day to arms.

Haxedout, damn bro, we need to teach you sequencing. Why would you do arms the day before you do back, do you want your bis to give out before your back gets even worked.
You are still overtraining, and you need to do legs even if you had surgery do therapy session to get them back into shape.

D1 Chest+tris+shoulders
D2 Back Bis+traps
D3 rest
D4 Legs
D5 rest
D6 repeat.

any variation of this, five days in a row i to much for recovery plus the groups you are working are not really in the right sequence, you don't want sore tric the day before you are gonna do bench.
Hope this helps.

yea im in therapy... legs are gettin worked.... the second one was just something i thought of real quick.. never used that just thought bout it...

If you train hard...you can not get bigger or stronger like that. You must rest man.

What kind of surgery are you comming back from?

I like Lord_Suston's split suggestion.

Never more than 2 days in a row. Never train legs with any other bodypart.
Maximum 4 weight workouts per week.
