How many grams of carbs in your carb cycle?

Hey bros, Im trying to get in low digits for BF% before my next bulk. Started three weeks ago and Im reading a lot on the different types of diets out there and started out with a rotation of six low carb days of 150 g of carb and 1 carb up day with 250 g of carbs. Im 5'9, down from 230 to 220 lbs. The thing is im not sure what would be the most effective way to do this. Do I absolutely need a zero-carb day in my carb cycling or is what im doing good. Im dieting on 2500 cals on low carb days (150 c, 250 p, 100 f) and 3000 on my carb-up days (250 c, 250 p, 110 f). Any advice would be much appreciated.

Hey I would suggest doing the zig zag diet. I have done it in the past and it has worked great. It is day one 300 g of carbs and then day two 150 g of carbs and then day 3 zero carbs. It tricks your metabolism to speed up and burn more carbs and fat each day. I would suggest doing that for about 2 weeks and see how works.

Thanks for the reply. I would give this a try, I just need to know what a typical zero carb day looks like. Does zero means zero or less than 30 g? If it means zero, is there anything i can eat besides egg whites and chicken breasts? Also, do I rotate calories too or just carbs while maintaining the same calories (2500 at the moment for me)?

My understanding is 0 carbs means 0 starches and sugars. I think you can still eat almonds and certain veggies (green ones) for example.

Almonds still have 8 g of carbs per 40 grams portion (1 1/2oz). Broccoli has 5 g per 1/2 cup.

ZERO CARB days are normally below 30g carbs. I stopped doing ZERO carb days after I was losing energy and muscle on my cutter last year. This year Im just going back to the basics of Burn the fat feed the muscle, and its working out with no bad side effects.
