I still dont understand the point of all those calories. I mean if it's working for you than by all means continue, but I dont understand what use you would have for all those extra calories other than storing fat. An average bulk is around bodyweight x 20. Unless you weigh 500 lbs, or have an ungodly fast metabolism, what are all the extra cals for?

you said they aren't clean calories so you're obviously going to be a fat slob if you keep it up.

get real! trans fat waste muscle

try eating 5000 calories a day of clean food. its tough. if you can do that then you will get huge. eating large amounts of fats and sugars will turn you into a slob
 
Well, I am on cycle and sort of hit a plateau on weight gaining, so I decided to step it up a notch. Really the goal is going to be around 8000 cals, but I just wanted to see if I could do it for a day.

No, I am not just on some crazy McDonalds bulk plan, but yeah, I gotta through it in sometimes. And since come March when I start cutting, I cant engulge, I may as well do it now. I am actually not that big, 230 right now and only shooting for 240, so I think its doable. bf% is about 15 now and I plan to keep it there until starting to cut. Normally I think my metabolism is average or mid upper average, but on cycle it is through the roof, makes cutting good, but tougher to bulk.

I do have to say, it was much easer eating today, other than the pizza I threw down for dinner, have just been eating normal meals ever 2 hrs.

Doesnt your body have a cirtian ammount of calories that it could assimilate to muscle. And wouldnt your Maintainence calories plus the ammout of calories that can be assimilated, equal how many calories you need to grow.

This is just my opinion, cuz i gain alot of fat from 3500-4000 ultra clean calories. Is there something wrong with me?

Though I feel pretty special. First time in the 5 digits for me (at least that I have counted).

And I am not done yet. I still have at least one protein shake to go and I might also have a snack. ;)
