Does anyone lift Raw anymore?

I've heard different things about shirts as far as giving them exact measurements. For example, I gave them exacts for my poly, and it's a decent practice shirt, but not a good comp shirt because it's not tight enough. I think it varies, depending on who makes it.

If you can afford it, I'd say get a shirt now to start practicing with it, then get another one when you outgrow it. I thought the same thing, wait until I get bigger, but if I had done that, I'd still be waiting. :D

How long should I train in one before I compete in one? Also, do you lift in it when you train during the week. I know you don't on speed days but I didn't know if it was good to use it all the time or not.

I don't know that there's a hard and fast guideline as to how long you should train in one before you compete. I know I had mine a few weeks before my first comp, but I'm still not completely used to it.

We do shirt work at times during the week, but not every ME bench day.

Hopefully some of the other guys will share their thoughts.

I lift raw all the time, inless I have a compeition coming up. 1 month before the compeition I start traning my lock-out more and start with the shirt to get back in my grove...

If you are starting out, I would suggest the Fury by Titan Support. I love mine.... I would also suggest..If you would like to just have one shirt, I would say get the Double Denim Radical Cut Velco Back but order it big...The reason of getting it big is where you can get weight down when you first get it and as you put on 10lbs or so, you can begin to lift more with the shirt. This will give you time to grow into a shirt, get used to it, and have one of the best shirts on the market for compeition. The velcro back makes it sooooo easy to get in also...

Thats my suggestion...Everybody has there own...

thanks buddy...

been pretty busy with a new job and training..... i dont post as much as i used to.

7 bills... haha... could be 6 months... could be a lifetime. i walk out of every workout happy i didn't rip something off.

take care.

Whats the main difference in a Poly and Denim as far as helping. We have an old Poly shirt in our gym that I have tried once or twice but its top big for me so I know it didn't help any at all. Most of what I'm hearing seems to be leaning twards denim.
