Hey guys, Im currently working out on my own but for a while I was using a service called Flames Fitness, which is sortof a personal training gym. Anyway, their attitude to carbs was they were fine for lunch but not try and avoid them at dinner as much as possible, especially potato (I forget what else...). Their reasoning was that the carbs are turned into energy which will then turn into fat, since its night and your just going to go to sleep and not use it.
My current program off the net, however, says to "eat carbs post-workout only". Since I usually workout sometime between 3 and 5, post workout often means dinner. And "post workout only" means no carbs for lunch...
What are your opinions on this??! When are carbs best?
Thanks
