I have been dozens of times and know the drill rather well, AND I still hate it with a passion...
Take the others advice and find a domestic or int'l and let them do the hard stuff and you pay the extra. Trust me, it's worth the headache you can avoid...

I crossed several times with Vet supplies and never even got asked if I had anything to declare. All depends on where you are crossing at. I don't know how Cali is, but a few locations in TX I claim them. I was nervous as hell claiming them the first time, after that no big deal. You get into trouble there if you don't claim them and get caught. Just like sneaking some fruit over, same fine. They don't charge you with bringing back AAS, but not declaring things.

Don't take this for everywhere, this is just where I go. I have spoken with customs officials at length several times about the subject.

There is some good advice on this thread, take a couple of dry runs just to see what it is all about down there, maybe grab a 12 dollar bottle of t and when they ask if you have anything to declere(?) tell them u have a bottle of test just to see if it is all hype or not.
I will tell u 1 thing, if you only have a bottle or 2 all they will do is slap your hand, if you bring back enuf to make a little money off your friends thats when u start sweating.

Why don't you take a trip to Eu and buy there instead? Good gear is readily available, mail it back and hope most get through. I am in the army and when I was in Bosnia we brought back a small personal amount back from Serbia/ St.petersburgh an a few other places. Cheap gear, way less hassle than mexico. Mexico is full of crap...don't get screwed there.
