28yo hardgainer, past injurys, HGH + supplements for mass

TJM

New member
28yo Male 140lb, 5'11" DDD, 2 herniated disks, 2 bulge disks, tears and all that fun stuff from someone dropping a large heavy item while bending down to put it down to the left side.

Injury was 4-5 years ago, 1 round of months of physo, 1 round of 25 sessions of spinal decompression, hurt myself again a year ago and did 18 more sessions of decompression/massage/chyro 2 spinal epiderials and mackinzie method physo which I have been doing awhile and has made my core so much better but now its time to get bigger and stronger and protect what I have spent thousands on to get to this point, I would rather not have to have any spinal operations as it has got better over time.

I have the
HGH somatropin 191AA
True-mass
No-Xplode
Cell-mass
Volumizer
Leutor70
Animal Stac
Omega 3-6-9
Dextrose
100% Isolate whey protien
100% Gold Standard Casein
Diet summer bbq beef, chicken, fish, pork, fruits and veggies which I love ( I dont do 4-6 real meals thus meal replacments)

have dumbbells, incline/decline bench and a weekly plan for a workout/rest

Might be over kill and I will adjust as needed. Now I don't know if all that info is needed but I felt it best to just try to give all I could think of too stopback and forth questions that I should of already givin info too

SOOO bla bla bla from what I can tell for someone like me and my body type is different from different sites all over a 4-6 month cycle of (all different)
7 days a week 4iu before bedtime
7 days a week 3iu am 3iu before bedtime
5 days on 2 days off 4-8 iu but nothing about splitting into 2 parts cause of higher doses.
Ok after weeks and weeks of reading so much info and so much of which is completly different fromone guy to the next guy and frustrated because no one I know is a hardgainer and there advice is for them and they see it as all the same, which it is oviously not..

OVER and OVER I can NOT find consistancy, this is the site I feel is the one where I can find proper information for my neeeds of continuing recovery of injurys, strength, MASS as I hate being 140 soaking wet, I cant afford to loose any more weight ever lol

Back injuries can make it hard to train in a fashion for putting on any mass so I feel for ya. For the GH, there really is no right or wrong way to do it so fee free to experiment a bit and see what works for you. For me, running 4IU daily over months and I had some sides set in so had to back off the dose and I am significantly larger than you. I think you may find the doses above will be a bit on the string side for your goals. Id say start at 4iu and if you get sides back it down to 2 or 3.

As for your weight gain problems, if your eating as clean as you say then I suspect you have some serious deficiencies going on and the food you eat is not being properly absorbed. If you are really serious about this I would suggest getting an RBC magnesium, RBC zinc, 25(OH)D blood test done. Next go out and get a good B complex supplement, NOW makes a decent product.

When you get the results, you want the 25(OH)D at around 100ng/ml, the magnesium to be 6.8 mg/dL, and zinc to be right around 1470ug/dl or 14.7mg/l. If any of these values are lower you could use more. Magnesium and zinc are critical to a huge array of events on the body and getting those levels ti high normal will aid a ton in healing.

Next find a digestive aid that has Betaine HCl and ideally some other stuff, NOW has a decent product here as well. You want to start by taking a single digestive aid with approx 200mg Betaine HCl with a solid meal. At each meal after that ad 1 more Betaine HCl capsule until you feel a warm sensation in the stomach, you will want to use that dose minus 1 table from that point forward with each meal containing solid proteins (ie meat).

Also get a GOOD probiotic and take first thing in the morning or at night on an empty stomach with a full glass of water to help populate you gut with good bacteria.

If your in the US and need a source for labs without a doc or probiotics, shoot me a pm.

If labs come back low you will have to implement a loading process to get those levels back up to where they need to be, this could take a couple months or more and during that time you should notice improvements in nagging injuries, increased muscle tone and mass, better sleep etc.

Most of the other stuff your taking is likely worthless at this point because(except fish oil). You also need to look at adding a good portion of quality fats to your diet in the form of nuts, whole milk, avacados, coconut milk etc.

wow thank you for taking the time to write all of that out I very much appriciate it.
I slacked off to almost no physo in november/dec when I was doing classes up and gone by 7am home by7pm eat study sleep, really let myself lose what I had, Persons with past injurys know what I mean, the feeling of never going to get better and hopelessness and just giveup and let slide till your back to crap.
I am almost back to the core strength I was months ago (back problems which I have a need for a half a pain killer a week now if even that, from the start where I had tears screaming trying to put on my own pants, get into cars, get onto the couch.
The progression has been to able to do Muay Thai for a little bit but I have been doing alot of outback off trails 2-7km hikes with 35lb pack on. I have come ALONG way but I felt I should give the history of injury. The reason I ask all of this is because I am ready for the next step ,starting to eat well and do all of this now, it is not easy for me but I have no choice now if I want to get to the next level where I can really protect my body from more injury, I know I need heavy lifts shorter reps to failure and I will go so at a responsible rate as too not trigger any problems, I start with alot less than I think I should because there is always the next time to push it a little more.

So now I want to go in with a plan of attack, info like yours helps this, I dont want to just wing it and hope for the best that is a waste of my time and everyone that is trying to help me.
I did have blood work done for liver stuff from bipolar meds a couple months ago I can ask if they will let me see what kind of blood tests they were. major problem I forgot, go figure is the ADHD, but the excersise and being healthy actually helps that slowly too, I can't use that as an excuse anymore. The more I do the more focus and mental clearness becomes

The supps are because I cant eat 6 meals a day, when I do I love to cook at home and stay the F away from junk, I cant even eat subway anymore cause it just taste so cheap and garbage, I am eating well but not to where you think I am, but I am very much on that path, it gets easyer everyday with structure and info.
So gain thank you I really appriciate your advice and your time, and the reason behind them, not just for telling me this and that and no reason as too why.

The above tests I mentioned are not normally done so likely wont be on your previous labs. The fact you have ADHD is another indication you may have macronutrient issues. Do a search on pubmed for magnesium and adhd, lot of info out there. If youve been on meds for it, that can also have a big impact on intenstinal issues and ability to absorb food etc.

As I said, it may sound silly and a lot of docs may say if you eat a decent diet you are fine but studies have found more than 50% of people are deficient. Get the blood work done and see for yourself.
