Sounds like a textbook example of lactose intolerance. You can test this out by buying a small amount of lactaid tabs (or the equivalent) and chew them with your shake.
Most protein powders have lactose in them. I know sci-tec does not, but they are in the minority. I think that prolab matrix also doesn't have lactose in it.
Designer Whey does the same thing to me...(and tastes like shit to boot) I only go with Muscle Milk, and MaxPro...and never have that problem anymore...
I completely agree. My friend left his Designer whey at my apt and I used it a few times. Each fucking time I had to take a nasty shit. No other shake has done this to me. It doesn't taste that great anyway.
I made the mistake of taking it the first time 30 min before legs. I almost shit myself doing squats.
if my stomach is completely empty, I tend to have the same reaction when taking whey.
try taking it with oatmeal and/or some flax to slow down the digestion. or just about any actual food really tends to help me....a potatoe, rice, etc.....
