Why do I not really sweat after doing some cardio?

This got me thingking...Whenever I jog outside, I never seem to really sweat at all. Heck I just came in from an AM empty stomach jog, and it seems like I do most of my sweating when I stop. granted yeah the temp outside is kinda chilly, but this happens even in the summertime. Now when I'm on the stairclimber in the gym, after about 15 minutes I'm getting wet. Now the only thing I could think of is when I'm jogging, I'm just not getting my heartrate into that certain area, I don't know if it's too low (which I hope not cause my cardio system can't handle pushing harder, I am asthmatic, tho' it doesn't really bother me unless it's a certain season, like fall, which is pretty much here now. Sometimes, even tho' I've been running off and on for a few years, I still have problems during the exercise where I have to stop jogging because my lungs are tight. I have done sprints and stuff to help strengthen the system, but it never really turns me into an iron man of sorts. ) or I'm pushing too hard as it is, and I need to cut back. That's all I can think of but I was looking for some other opinions on what the deal is.

Even when I lift, I never really sweat. Some people's shirts are drenched, and you're lucky if I even break a sweat sometimes.

Some people just sweat more than others. (I'm not a sweater either) People with low bf sweat less. You may not be running as intensly outside, and the air is usually drier. But it could a few other things, mainly your thyroid. Have you had it checked?

actually i did have it checked, but definately not recently, as in the past few years. I remember 10 years or so ago when i took karate I sweat a lot more, but I was more oevrweight than I am now, I'm getting close to 10% right now. I have taken Cytomel for fat burning purposes, and I believe if it was any sort of hypothyroidism, I would have noticed a change but I didn't..Maybe when I get some health insurance i will get it checked.

I'd love to be "blessed" with hyperthyroidism.

Sounds like....

Sounds like your outside your Target Heart Rate. Your Heart Rate is above the bpm for burning fat. Your Excerises are probably Aerobic. Try Slowing down a bit when you jog. Or jog more slowly. Let me know.
