What is the most time off ....

some of you ladies have taken off from the gym? I know time away sometimes does a body good but when the force of nature is the cause it really sucks....

I haven't worked out since June 9th... Not because I don't want to because I really can't My house flooded twice in a 6 day span the first time on the 6th wasn't too bad and we were back in the house by the sunday but the second time on the 11th was horrible and we are still living from place to place in and out of relatives homes. It is sooo hetic, hopefully by this weekend we can be back in the house and back to the gym on monday....

I just know that it will be like starting over lost strength and endurance... My diet has been totally sucky the past 2-weeks with the loss of my grandmother Memorial day weekend and then all the stress of flooding back to back. I am ashamed to say the I got to a point that my nerves wouldn't let me keep any food down, I went close to 3-days without eating a solid meal.

I have been snake bit for the month of June... seems if it can go bad, it does.. Well I needed a rant and rave session, sorry for the drama. Has this ever happend to anyone, meaning that you were in a position you had to take time away, right when your strength was picking up and you were doing great eating clean?

How long did it take to get back in the rythem again?

Yeah, about 4 years ago I went through some problems and dropped 30 lb (finally had abs though!), stopped working out for a couple months, didn't eat, etc., etc., etc...

It doesn't take long to get back into it -- a week or so. Your body will remember its training and come back very quickly if you pamper to it.
