Okay, Daisy, this one's for you. I'm on my regualar e/c stack, doing my normal routine, 35-45 min lift, then 30 min cardio. During my lift, I'm all sweaty, heart rate is high, everythings hunky dory, then i start my cardio, medium intensity, eliptical, then about 10 minutes into it, i get REALLY COLD, my heart rate slows, i don't think dangerously slow, but slow like i'm sitting at my desk typing on the comp. I stopped my cardio, cause it kind of scared me, has anyone had a similar experience??? It was really wierd.

how slow is slow?
 
I don't know, I wish i could tell you, i didn't even take time it. But the weirdest thing was how COLD i got all of the sudden
 
did you take any stims preworkout?

Sounds like the weights were more aerobic intenese than cardio - that happens to me a lot....

..as you began the cardio - it acted as a cool down for your body....the sweat began to evaporate and the body cooled....


I dont think the HR would have dropped below 100......soif you were at 160-170 duinr the weights, a drop to 100 would feel REALLY slow....


take you puld next time...a quick eay way is to count the beats for 6 seconds and add a zero

I agree totally with this.

I have had this happen to me - but sometimes the reverse. There have been times I did cardio first, then weights - when I was doing my warm up sets of weights I would be chilled to the bone - but then, as I got going (lifting heavier sets) I would warm back up.

I never noticed a slower heart rate through.

How else did you feel? Nauseated? Light headed? Dizzy? If you didn't get any of these symptoms, I would say SHadow hit the nail on the head.
 
If you are talking about when you are going along and lifting hard, head to cardio, or even if you maybe spend extra long lifting, all of a sudden a cold sweat washes over you? Maybe not a "sweat" but all of a sudden a cold literally washes over you.

How long since you ate before that happened? I'm not sure what is the physical explanation, but for me, that's my body telling me it's "done". The food energy may have been depleted and I'm exhausted and its time to consider going home and getting some food in me.
