Tuna Recipies

Ok guys, i'm getting tired of so much chicken and 97% lean ground beef so i'd like to start eating more tuna for protein. The problem with that is I can't stand the taste. My question is what kind of ways do you prepare tuna to get over the taste?

i tried it with mac and cheese, but would'nt eat it at nite as there is some trash in the cheese mix but good for bulking.
i mix tuna with non-fat mayo,a dash of mustard, some chopped celery, chopped apple, egg whites, and fresh pepper..throw in some sweet relsish and you are good to go

Tuna burgers:

1 6oz can tuna (drained)
1/2 c rolled oats
2 egg whites
1 tsp oregano (optional)
1/2 tsp chili powder (optional)

In a medium size bowl, mix tuna and egg whites. Add oats and spices and mix well. Form into patties and cook over medium heat until lightly browned. Turn over and cook for 1-2 minutes or until lightly browned.

Good stuff

i like to use relish with a few cans of tuna just to sweeten it up a little. no sugars just some sodium. nothing that a little sweat cant solve

When I make my typical tuna with mayo and oinions i added celery salt to the mix it knock down the fish taste alittle.

Other options is to mix the tune with one of the side dishes. can't remember the name but there similiar to hamburger helper. they are pasta based and come in different flavors. they work pretty well.

I like tuna but that strong fishy taste is not my favorite either. After experimenting for a while I used italian dressing because of its strong flavor. Just put in a couple of teaspoons of italian dressing, stir it up, put it on some whole wheat bread with some greens and you're set to go. Also, microwaving the tuna brings out an even stronger italian dressing flavor in my opinion.

Tuna Sandwich

Full can of tuna
Mix with 2 Tablespoons of relish
1 Tablespoon of Low fat Mayo(Miracle Whip)
Add a little mustard if you want

Spred out onto bread slice of your choice for a great tasting sandwich!

Lates!

I mix it with calorie-free honey dijon vinagrette, Ms. Dash spices and micro it for 20-30 seconds. On a lt. multigrain english muffin or low carb wheat pita.

There are alot of good calorie free dressings that help the tuna taste not fishy
and heating it up makes it better too!
