Tattoos?????

Hey guys I was wondering if any of you have tattoos and if so were???? The reason I asked is b/c this weekend I went down to the fair and got a henna tattoo for those of you that don't know what it is it's a tattoo that comes off in about 3 weeks-2months it is black indian ink so it stays on for a while it's a tight design. Now I know I got it on my arm, but I want a real one and I know if my arm keeps growing it's gonna stretch and I don't want it on my back b/c I'll never get to see it . So just wanted to change the subject up a lil. Thanx

I have like 5.....depends what you count as one tattoo.

I have a "leg sleve" that stops at my knee cap.

i have two on the other leg.(small like 2inchs by 3 inchs)

I have one on my hip.

I have writing across my collar bone/throat.

They are a major commitment. I got my first when i was your age (maybe a bit younger) Thinking back if i had got tattooed when i first had the desire to i would have hated the results, because i wouldnt have been able to choose something for life.

At your age its hard to think that far ahead (what am i saying im only late 21)
I love all my tattoos even though some of them represent the hard times in my life.......i can look back at them and understand what has made me what i am.


A bit of advice, dont get:
anything on your neck.
anything on your forearm/hands.

make sure you can cover up everything......unless you want to work at a construction site or music store till your 60.
I dont know what it is like in the US but tattoos in australia still have a criminal and thug ellement them. also we run off a different socal scene in the tattoo world, having all shops run by hardarse motorcycle gangs.

Really think out the design/possition, ask yourself "why am i getting it" "where will i be in 10 years" "will anyone appreciate it" "will it mean anything in a few years"

also think of size, colour and things like that.

Dont get a tattoo because they look cool.

they look stupid unless they have something behind them. I hope i dont offend anyone, but:
leave tribal stuff for people in tribes,
if you cant read chinese dont get chinese characters



see how you feel in 3 months (if the henna tattoo is still there)

I've lost count of my Tattoos but I'm not done yet. I don't really care to hear anyone's opinion on them either. I did it for me so I don't care what they think. BTW, Henna Tattoos are for chicks! Anyway don't worry about outgrowing your ink, your skin will stretch with your growth.

yeah im a bit over it.........if anyone ask i just tell them i got this one in prison, this was done by some stupid biker that got shot, and all the rest were when i went back to prison, one tattoo per sentance,

I have a tiger clawing his way through the skin on my right thigh. I got it when I was 19 years old and had just won my first state full contact karate championship. I was born in the year of the tiger on the chinese zodiac, and that is the reason for the tatt being a tiger.

Don't worry about growth, I am about 50 lbs heavier than I was when I got that tattoo, and it still looks just as good as it did when I got it.

Don't put any one's name but mom on you, it is a guaranteed relationship terminator, and don't put one anywhere you can't cover up with jeans and a t-shirt. Make sure it means something.

I have got tribal on my right arm that besides a little bit of room thats left it is almost sleeved from shoulder to elbow. I have 2 on my left arm one on my chest, and one on my middle upper back in fact when i have a t shirt on you see about 1 inch of it coming out.

Damn guys I thought I was gonna hear like one tattoo not a bunch of them, but still that's cool well the only one I really want to get at the moment would be a flag I can describe it, but when you see the drawing I have for it it looks alot better since I'm cuban-italian I want a cuban flag then it cuts off into an italian flag so it looks like they are clashing together and I want it on my upper arm where the deltoid and bicep are. I wanted the peninsula of italy on the left side on my back and the island of cuba on the right side, but I will never see them and I want to see my tattoo not have to look in a mirror to see it.

I was thinking of putting something in Polish writing on me since i am of Polish decent and only i will understand it. So it will mean something to me and look pretty cool too if it is in the right font.
