LOL. Yah, I did good! I was so proud of myself. Its hard here where I work. I gained *gasp*40 lbs since I started working here. Everyone orders out for lunch and sometimes breakfast too. But I'm being strong and showing everyone else here that I CAN do it :)

GOOD Job Sumneray! BE strong and stand firm, be a positive example for everyone...you better believe that they will be JEALOUS of your determination and will power! ;) :heart: Keep up the good work!
 
OK, S....so you're getting use to being here and logging your diet....now start logging it in fitday too. I'm looking over your food and I don't think you're getting enough protein.

One thing too that really stood out to me was the pretzels (all carbs) after the banana (more carbs). No protein in there at all. You need protein at every meal. For you, that would be about 35 grams of protein EACH time you eat if you eat 6x a day.

Add some cottage cheese, albacore steak, lean beef, more chicken, shrimp, scallops, cod, tilapia.....there are more, but these are great sources of protien.

Thanks Scorpio :) I'll add more protien. Many times I tried to setup with Fitday but I do most of it while at work and it gets really busy here sometimes that I can't finish.

This weekend was not very good. I don't think I've been this busy on a weekend in a long time and trying to keep everything in order was rough. I didn't get to work out with the wts but I did help my husband Saturday and Sunday with putting an engine in his car and that was a workout in itself. Engines are heavy!

I'm not going to bother creating a log for the weekend since I ate when I could and know I did bad, tho I could have done a lot worst. :(

On a good note. I lost 4 lbs!!!

A 4 lb loss is good -IF- you are getting all your calories in -AND- you're getting 1 gram of protein per bodyweight in. If you are losing and these two things aren't being met, you're probably losing muscle, which will cause your metabolizm to drop. Here's where fitday can really help you. Also, even if you have a bad day....LOG IT! It will give you the motivation to get it right! :)

hand full of pretzels with 1 can of tuna (added 1 tsp mayo so not too dry)
used pretzels to dip in tuna
