soreness- does it matter

For yours I've been hung up on never getting next day soreness.

Even when i've been personally trained heavy,light,pre-exhaust , drop sets etc.- but still no soreness.

The only time I get sore is after having a couple of weeks off, my first workout results in soreness the next day but never to the extent others experience.

Anybody similar, am I just lucky. I really train balls to the wall although I do train alone.

Soreness isn't necessarily an indicator of growth and you don't have to get sore to grow.

But... you know you've trained hard if you're sore the next day, just don't get hung up on achieving the feeling. I used to do the same thing.

There's no concrete evidence to support what actually causes DOMS, however they are characterised by soreness following unaccustemed exercise.

After doing an exercise for a while I don't get too sore.
But Man, when you add something new, look out!
