I bought some peanuts this week, seemed pretty cheap at a buck a pound. They're unsalted, still in the shells. I was wondering if they were a good idea for added protein and potassium. The USDA site says that peanuts have a pretty decent amount of both, but I was wondering if your body would actually take in the full amounts since peanuts don't completely digest (at least that's what I hear).
