omg i am so sick of eating.

drinking calories is the only way to get the calories so high

drink glucose and isopure before, during, and especially immediately after a workout

an hour after your workout, drink another shake that is low in fat
then an hour later, eat some dead cow, peas, corn, beans...

I have the opposite problem. I could eat all day. I had no trouble at all eating 4k/day with only 1 protein shake when I was a young buck.

well i was under the impratoin that takeing in cals from hole foods would be alote better for me then drinks.

you are right, it is better; however, replacing some meals with shakes can be a positive in helping you sticking to your diet long-term. Especially when you're sick of eating...

Mr. X again is right on! You can make a nice homemade weight gainer, and you will know what is in it unlike commercially made ones that add fillers and sugars for extra calories.

An example could be milk, oats, peanut butter, heavy cream, protein of your choice, and banana. Blend all together in size you want, and drink some all day long either with meals or in between meals. You can get as creative as you want.

Forgot to mention, another thing I do when on an all out bulk is make a shake before be, put ice in it, and keep it by my bedside. If I wake up during the night, roll over, chug some down, and go back to sleep.

This could be anything, I like to use the yogurt smoothies, add milk and heavy cream, and eggwhite. But you could use any good casein protein, add heavy cream, etc.

I wasn't trying to down play the way you train at all bro (no clue how you do), don't take it as a "put down."

Just assess the way you are training, maybe something needs to be modified... more isn't better unless you're eating more (which you're trying to do) and sleeping more. How's your rest schedule? I noticed you get up twice a night, are your muscles and CNS feeling rested, ect?

Oh, there's a great post somewhere about this guy that makes a shake in the a.m. that's about 1,700 calories... and drinks 8 cups of it throughout the day to his bulk schedule. Something like that might do the trick. I'll look for it and post the link.

EDIT: Here's the Link!
link no worky bro.

I have found that the best protein mix for bulking is Muscle Milk, when mixed with low fat milk I believe 2 scoops are about 650 cals which is pretty good. Adding a couple of these to a couple of your solid meals should work well. I also like to use a lot of all natural PB when bulking, this is one of the most cal dense foods you can get. It is good non-saturated fat so you can even add a couple TBSN of the PB to some of your solid meals to bump the total cals up. Believe me bro, if you are trying to keep a strict diet while trying to consume 4k cals per day you are not going to be able to do it. The best way to do it is like I stated. Eat a good solid meal, but add a cal dense shake or other food to it to bump the cals up.

It's really old school advice but adding heavy cream to your protein shakes will help you get your total calories up. During bulking cycles I tried experimenting with low fat, high carb weight gainer shakes and protein shakes mixed with cream. The weight gainers smoothed me out while the cream and protein shakes kept my bodyfat down and boosted my strength more than anything else. Experiment with what works best with your body. And if you don't want to go with the cream, adding peanut butter to your shakes works nicely too. Dilute it with water if its too thick and drink it throughout the day in between meals.
