Yep, on a gaining diet calorie density as opposed to nutrient density(for dieting) is the key.
hmm. On that premise; Would you be an advocate of eating a can of lard? :( I hope not... I do understand what you mean, but when we're trying to get clean calories in it's much harder.

Or are you simply saying eating a few (or one) unconventional meal (out of 6) a day to give your "calories" a boost would be beneficial? Even if it would spike insulin levels? ... just trying to understand.

I need to learn more about "clean" bulking because I did NOT do it correctly on my own before and put on too much fat.

Calorically dense foods such as beef and peanut butter for instance. 6 oz. of beef is approximately 360 calories or so depending on the cut, 6 oz. of chicken on the other hand is only about 185 calories. Peanut butter is very calorie dense.

Adding heavy cream to your protein shakes can jack up the calories. Heavy cream is wonderful for bulking. (a long time favorite if some mighty good Mr. O's, Frank Zane and Larry Scott to name 2)

And if truly a hard gainer, then theoretically nothing is off limits. Clean is really used in the context of healthy.

Extra virgin olive oil is a good source of healthy fat , and has 125 calories per 15 mls ;)

i train hard bro.very hard.1 1/2 5 days a week.and some times more if my body feels right.

wonder if b-12 is all that people make it out too be.

Dude, I've tried injecting b12 hydroxycyanacobolamin, and cyanacobolamin (sp?) at 2000mg, and sublingual b12 @ five thousand mg... they take away stress and keep you going longer, but they didnt do jack for my appetite. Just my opinion.

I don't blame you, I get sick of eating too. Its much easier to drink then eat. Half my meals are protien/ MRP type drinks. There's no way I could get by without them.

god how do people eat 5 6 7 or even 8000 cals in a day.3800 and i just cant eat another bite.

Try adding high-calorie protein shakes. You can take in 1000 calories per shake easily.
