Maximum coffee per day

How much coffee is ok to drink during the day? I usually drink at least 1-2 cups (but not black coffee, rather with milk and stuff), and at most 4 cups. Is that too much? I heard that drinking coffee can help lose fat - is this coffee enough for fat loss?
 
The RDA for caffeine for healthy adults is to consume no more then 400mg (4 cups of coffee) per day. Stimulants like caffeine are fine in moderation but abusing them will raise cortisol levels and can lead to adrenal fatigue.

Caffeine/coffee blunts appetite but it really doesn't do much for burning body fat. The best supplement to burn body fat is cardarine.

Cardarine is drug that binds to the PPAR receptor and is non-hormonal. Cardarine increases the expression of genes involved in the expenditure of energy, stimulates glucose uptake in skeletal muscle tissue and burns fat by stimulating fatty acid oxidation.

I would not use more than 3-4 cups per day. Any more than that will be quite stressful for your body. If you really like coffee for its taste, try getting decaffeinated coffee - it would be a much healthier option. On the other hand, if you need coffee for the energy, you really need to limit its intake, because on the long run you will need to keep increasing the amount of coffee taken, which will lead to many stim related side effects, and crashes.
 
I love coffee personally and only drink black coffee. I would switch to that. If you are not used to it most people can adjust after only a couple days. I would stick to a couple cups a day. That way you are getting all the benefits without the negative effects of caffeine.
