Thanks. As far as my body fat (15%), I try to get most my cals from protien. I eat complex carbs like oatmeal prior to lifting and simple carbs only after I lift. I am lean everywhere except for my stomach. I eat good. Lift 5 days a week. yet the gut remains. I dred cardio but I guess that its going to have to be done to loose the gut. Anyone have any other sugggestions??

Oh im
25yo
6'1
212lbs
15% bf

are you getting enough good cals? if so, you may try high intensity cardio--intervals for example--they often jump start some fat loss more than a static workout. you should try lipoflame--not tried it, but great reviews on here.

i don't really like cardio either, but it is what you have to do. Since this is the steroid section, may i say that anavar will help you lean out as well.

Cardio really is what gets the BF down though. If you lift heavy and then do cardio, your body will use up the fat on your body as energy, and the fat goes away, and the veins and striations come.

in a nutshell, your body will use muscle before it uses fat for extra energy. fat is a last resort. if your muscles are broken down from lifting, you give your body no choice but to use the fat, and the BF% drops down.

good advice-once the glycogen is low, you begin to burn more fat than sugars (about 20-40 minutes, depending if you keep the intensity up throughout the wourkout.)

low carbs
low to moderate intensity cadio (heart rate should be 60-70% of max) 35-45mins ed, cant burn adipose tissue without presence of oxygen.

am cardio/lipoflame
small more frequent meals
low carbs diet or no carbs late nite atleast
if u go low carb make sure u eat enough protein
dont go on a diet to low in cals .. all u gonna do in the long run is slow down your metabolism and lose a shyt load of muscle and water to go along with some fat and then when u up your cals again u will put on a shyt load of fat because of your slowed metabolism

exactly, keep your heart rate in zone 1, lower zone 2, not to exceed 130 bpm. then, if you're fit, ie- good cardio conditioning, your actual workout starts after you've been doing cardio for 20 mins. this is when your body starts the conversion from using glycogen/glucose energy stores to using the conversion process of burning fat. if you're not fit, it starts at 30 minutes. so fit people, in order to get a 20 minute fat burning workout, will do 40 minutes of cardio, unfit will do 50. you can break this up, into short sessions with resistance training in between cardio sessions to kill the monotony. ie- 15 minutes cardio, weights, 15 min more cardio, weights, etc etc. you get my point. when i'm trying to drop bf%, i'll usually run(high intensity) for 5 - 8 minutes(1 - 2 miles), then hit the weights for my regular routine, then after the workout, double what i did before, with the addition of my ab workout. drops bf% like a mofo. -my 2.
