Ketosis - theory, help me ot here (tat?)

so how would a offseason diet like that look like when all protein and fat?

50% prot 30% fat and 20% carbs, is that a good way to go?

sounds interesting but i have now idea how it would look like.

Insulin will spike with just eating, and in response to protein/amino acids.

I think it is not as much insulin released, but it is still released.

There are so many factors involved, like what your bodyfat is, as the lower it is, the more likely nutrients will go to muscle.

There is also your activity level, so if you are quite active or someone who never sits still, you will burn a lot of calories.

CC79, did you multiply your BMR by your activity level?

I really wish that low carb diets worked for me, I am trying one out again, but it does seem whenever I drop one of my macros too much, I just end up with uncontrollable urges for the macro I dropped.

Oh yeah. I did the anabolic diet. Carbs lower than 30g during the weekday and carb load on the weekends. The induction period is 12 days. Monday - Following Friday of low carbs then the first carb load.

Needless to say, i went into a carb coma that saturday :)

The trouble i had was that after the carbload my workouts were insane! but by wed i could feel a drop and then by thur/fri forget it. Not even worth going to the gym. I would just get pissed.

I did drop some body fat and gain a little muscle. It also conditioned me to say no to sweets. I used to really tear up some chocolate but after a few months of the AD i really could control that sweet urge.
