I Swear I'll Never Do It Again ...

I get that way too. Although I still workout, I occasionally get the feeling that my workout just wasn't good enough. I started taking assault and that's helped me get in that zone tremendously.

I always workout at night as I work 12+ hours 6 days a week year round. So I usually come home from work, say hi to the wife and kid, change and down to my gym in the basement because I know if my ass hits the couch i'm probably not going to get off until bed time. LOL
I don't have that option, I can't take any kind of stimulant supplement, it'll fuck me up in a huge way. I can't work 12 hour days and then work out, I'll never sleep because if I lift after a certain hour I can't sleep.

Being 40+ with a goofed up metabolism is lots of fun. Enjoy your youth and health.

None of my business, but if you work 12+ hour days six days a week, THEN go workout, what type of relationship could you possibly have with your family?

I know how you feel MuscleMom. My whole life is full of fits and starts. False starts, go-get-'em gung ho's and then BAM, life hits and I have to start all over again.

I go through the same thing with DOMS everytime too. It's a good hurt though, :lmao:

:bigkiss:

Pretty good relationship actually...It could always be better, but running a business takes time. My wife also works 6 days a week as well.

When I get home, I take my preworkout supps and while i'm taking them and waiting for them to kick I play with my son, and talk to my wife about her day. I go and do my workout which is an hour or so. (only 30-45sec between sets) and come up and shower. Then I sit down and have dinner with the family. Play with my son until his bedtime. Then my wife and I talk on the couch, and if any of our shows are on we will watch those.

My day off (sunday) I don't lift, and spend the entire day with my family. Also...the way I work my routine I don't lift every day of the week.

Shit I know that. I always tell people I work twice as hard now that I'm self employed ...

Yeah, yeah, I know I should be working right now but transcription isn't something you can sit and grind out for hours at end (well, actually there are a few people-machines who can, but they aren't natural). You have to break it up or you start making so many mistakes you're wasting your own time.

medical transcripionist?

My mother has been doing that for over 30 years.
She doesn't live in Del. Co. Pennsylvania, does she :lmao:

Nice to hear someone can last in this field. I'm getting mentally burnt out, though ... I subcontract, stupid of me. I'd do better working directly for myself, but I fucking can't stand doctors.

haha..no she's in Colorado. She actually just quit doing it a few months back.

I can honestly say I think she is the fastest typist i've ever seen. She has nails too...and it's still blazing fast. Absolutely amazing to watch her type.

I keep my nails cut short and I still wear grooves in the keyboard. I'll admit to not being the fastest typist out there. I try to work smart (macros are my friend).
