Well here is a typical day for me.

Morning: Before Workout

2 Bowls (About 5 servings) of Wheaties/Raisin Bran, plus about 3 glasses of 2% Milk.

(About 1400 Cals, 45g of protein)

Morning: Post Workout

Peanut Butter (4teaspoons), 2 Whole Grain slices of bread.

(Another 600 Cals, 22g of protein)

Lunch 1: Burrito, 1/4th gallon of milk.

1200 Cals, 52g of protein

Lunch 2: Egg/Chicken/Cabbage wraps, 1/4th gallon of milk

1000 Cals, 97g of Protein

Dinner: 2 Potatoes, 1 sandwich, 1 Protein Bar.

Sandwich includes: 2 Whole Wheat slices of bread, Mustard, 1 Slice of Cheese , 4 teaspoons of peanut butter and 2 slices of turkey meat.

About 1800 Cals, 85g of protein.

Extra stuff I usually eat includes a tomato or banana daily and a glass of fruit or vegetable juice, sometimes extra vegetables or fruit with meals.

So my diet includes about 6'000 calories a day, 280g of protein.

Keep in mind that 5 days out of the week I am doing fairly intense cardio due to my job and have an extremely fast metabolism, have been eating like this for 4 weeks and only gained 3lbs so far.

your 6'5 185? of 6 feet?

either way i will give you my feed back...

your first and last meal are way to big no need to eat 1400 cals pre training and 1600

you have alot of sugar in your diet ( milk and banana's)

postworkout your eating carbs and fat

your dinner is 2 potaotes say 80 grams total of carbs + 30 from bread + say 25 from the bar plus more sugar.

2 turkey slices yeild about 9-15 grams of protein not much in there

so it needs less carbs more protein..

your diet needs some work

i agree that you need less carbs and more protein.

eggs, yolks help build muscle, dont remember why, but i did read that about a month ago

cottage cheese=crazy mad protein in small, portable containers

pile meat on sandwiches, if that gets too expensive just grill some cheap chicken breasts and throw those on buns instead

breakfast, try some oats and eggs, or a weight gainer shake with oats, peanut butter, banana; that would be rediculously high in cals, good fats, good carbs, and protein- but you would want to do that post workout, i agree your first meal is too big for a pre-workout meal. i wouldn't be able to function at the gym if i ate that much.

Okay, so if I made these changes would it be better.

Pre-workout I will only eat 1 bowl of cerial. Then post workout I will eat a Egg Sandwhich and another bowl of cerial.

For night time I will add more meat to my sandwiches and use less peanut butter, as well as only eat 1 potato at night time, add a small bowl of cottage cheese here maby as well.

Would that help my overall diet?

Edit: And yes I am 6 Feet 5 inches, and only weight 185, thats one of the reasons why I'm trying to put on some mass, I'm not very strong right now.

i would say that would help. i have plenty of meals you could add to a bulking diet, but it really depends on what you want to be eating.

I like lots of different foods, I'm just trying to put together a solid diet plan, don't want to gain more then .75lbs a week as I think if I get to much It will be largely fat, put around 2-3lbs on in a little over 3 weeks using the diet plan in my first post so I'm sure I'm getting enough calories, just wasn't sure what I need to improve.

I'm open for meal suggestions, I'm always open to advice and if It sounds good I will go with it. I'm not very good at meal planing before I was just eating hot pockets and tv diners, so even my current diet is vastly improved over that.
