They key to see if the chicken is still good is goes by the expiration date. Dont go by just smelling it or touching it! To see wether is cook cut it in the center it suppose to feel moist and soft. Prick it with a fork is also one thing to test if the chicken is cook. If its still tender and oozing fluid then is not cook!

One more thing thawing food properly is one thing to prevent you from eating poison food. Stay SAFe! EAt right! Be well!

I boiled some chicken this morning but I believe it was bad or undercooked. I am throwing up and feel like complete shit. Im only days away from my show. Whatd the best thing 2 do?

IT will pass stat. Unlikely bacterial with such a short incubation time. Could possibly be just a stomach virus. If you have fever and HA, its echovirus. Just maintain adequate hydration, take tylenol for hyperpyrexia and HA/aches/pains, and you should be ok. If you start vomiting blood, UOP drops (urine), have visual changes, SOB (shortness of breath), chest pain, dizziness, tachycardia, or lightheaded when you stand up, seek medical attention as these can be signs of dehydration which is your greatest risk.

Antibiotics really have no role in the management of acute food poisoning, if this is what it is (salmonella maybe, but doubtful). Most likely viral in origin, there really is no treatment but bed rest, adequate hydration, anti diarrheals if you need them and anaglesics.

What did he place you on? Immodium, Phenergan, and Naproxen/Ibuprofen? Told you to drink lots of fluids?
