I hear guys talk about this. Myu theory is that it depends where you start from. If you have a not-so-great diet and then go on a more nutrionally sound diet, even with some extra calories, you may lose some bf while gaining muscle, while weights and cardio in the equasion as well. If you start out with a good diet and exercise program to begin with, then I'd say no unless you're using steroids or other drugs, then switching the answer to a maybe.
