ok...i want to lose fat...and get very tones....nice lean muscles....i started running..and my endurance is going up...i also have mroe strength...the excercise is fine...btu we knwo how diet is 80-90% the whole dela.....so ya i do great..got a base diet...but i get blah...if i cnat make it to the gym...adn get bored..and sumtimes its just cravings...adn every 3-5 days i go nuts for liek 1/2 hour...and realize what im doing..adn totally...stop....dont get me wrong im fighting an eating disorder i had...anorexia..adn im geting better with ym eating....and i think i have to keep trying...cold turkey...adn i will get better...i just wanted to knwo what u guys thought ofmy diet

here it is

brkfast: 1/3 cup of natural oatmeal
1 cup of skim milk
handful of dired cranberries
teaspoon of natural pb

Lunch: 1 serving size of fat free cheese (chedder usually)
1 MM veggie burger
2 slices of sugar free/fat free 100% ww bread

Pre workout: Zone Bar
Post workout: Response peanut butter protein bar or protein shake with an apple or soem other kind of fruit

Dinner: chicken breast or veggie burger (yves one)
a big salad (spinch, and extra virgin olive oil, and soem fat free cheese shredded)
and/or brocolii

i maintain muslce...and build it easy....is my diet not good...too muc...not enough cal?? im semi vegatarian....i just got myself eating chicken again...but i am not going to eat any other meat product besides..chicken, tuna, fish..... plase help me out!!! thank u!!
 
when you binge for a half-hour every few days do you purge afterwards? What much do you eat in that half-hour? I need to know more about these binges to tell you if they can be helped by tweaking your diet (which looks ok) or by some other means. some details please.
 
i dont purge....if by means of purge u eman excercise i do soem excercise...but thats just normal....like not overdoing it...oh and i do drink alot of water afterwards..
 
In the bigger picture, you generally want to eat 5-6 small meals / day. Are you hungry during the day or feel tired? I guess you are close to that w/ the above diet schedule. Peronally I would toss the protein bars & get in more real food. Also are you taking a good multivitamin? And also do you give yourself at least 1 cheat meal / week?

As far as the 1/2 hour, it takes a little bit of discipline to get into the swing of a tight diet. Yes I KNOW it can get REALLY BORING sometimes, but that's where it helps to look forward to a good cheat meal and also get creative with your meals. I found the South Beach Diet book has a bunch of great recipes that will fit a diet. There's also a bunch of recipes / food suggestions in the food section of EF. And finally do you have any quicky snack stuff like sugar free ice pops or sugar free jello? The ice pops work for me. Another option (keeping in mind its an acquired taste...), you can get some tofu & mix in some protein mix. It makes sort of a pudding, but its good if you have a taste for chocolate / vanilla / whatever.

Another thing I needed when I was dieting was a really tight schedule so I was too busy to worry about getting the munchies. This has, at times, included posting on EF until the hunger is gone. ;)

i have been doing ver well acutally...latelly..thank you. The tight scheadual works for me too :) the zone bar that i eat is like 210casl..adn is 40%carbs 30% fat (including omega...) and 30% protein. It coems in greta flavours and i use that as my treat.....it keeps me sane...and its good for before my workout.....i hate protein bars..btu i eat them occasionally....i also take and iron and multi-vitamin in teh morning with my breakfast.
