Back attack, short n shweet, did calves and shrugs again... can never seem to get enough shrugs... hmmmmm:
Pull ups: three of 8. no mas. next time up reps? not sure what the mood is on pull ups...
Low rows, close Grip, 160 for 8, 240 for 8, Rack(250) + a 35lb plate for 8, 285. Will shoot for 300 next, nice round number.
One arm, plate loaded rows: 3plates/side for 8, 5plates for 8, 6 plates for 8.
Shrugs on standing seated, i know i know, shoulda done oly bar, but i was pretty pretzle headed by this point and just went for the usual out of shere autopilotitis: 8 plates for 8, 12 plates for 8, 14 plates 6... at this weight my mid T-verts start to feel uneasy... will start to rethink this too.

Standing Calf Raises: 350 for 8, 495 (rack) for 8, plus two plates for 8, plus three for 8, plus four for 8. couldnt figure out how to get more than 675lbs on the fecker... hmmmph.

TODAYS FOOD:

about 3k today, a little less. Protein was a bit too high, i can tell by my breath of all things, and must get some more water down, the water on the way out is not as clear as i like....

630lbs for 5 honest and there was much rejoicing amongst the Hill People.

OK G -- A week ago I did my PR on SMITH shrugs (geigh, but O well -- my lower back don't do so well w/ the free bar these days) w/ 2 plates (45 x 4 + bar = 220) for 3 sets of 10 and I think I pullled my shouders out of the sockets. I went straight to the chiro to get my scapula pushed back into place , took 3 days for that to settle back while sitting at the compueter w/ bags of frozen collard greens on my shoulders to reduce the swelling, then an hour w/ the LMT to tweak all the muscles so the ol' scap stays where they pushed it and then spent another 3 days out of the gym to give the whole infrastructure a rest.

So now I read 7 freekin plates and I can feel my rotators starting to swell again.

Hey Sassahottie, the goofie part is i woulda gone for 16 plates total, but i couldnt get the 8th ones to stay on! :lmao:

The calf thing was a kinda freaky, i was a bit worried about my achiles snapping and thwanking me in the back of the head... but all is good, calves not even sore....


Buns: you move us all to 'lift the lid' and see the light. Truly.

Below sea-level cable crunches. 3 of 8 with 150, 175, 185

ATF Squats, 135 for 12, 225 for 10, 315 for 8
45 degree press: 360 for 8, 540 for 8, 720 for 6, 810 for 4. I hurt now. I will hurt more later, but it was the most weight I have moved in a very, VERY long time.
SLDeads: 95 for 8, 135 for 8 and POW! Ham cramp. Not smart. Should have skipped these entirely. Dumb, Ghede, Dumb.
Calves: standings topped out at 630, followed by a full flight of ten-rep stair climbers. Love/hate.

TODAYS FOOD:

Fruits of the sea today;

Salmon filet with curried cauliflower, roast garlic marinade and barley and brown rice.

Albacore Steak with brocoli, snap peas, baby greens

Two Crabcakes, broc, cauli, snaps, wild rice and soy nuts.

Two 1/2 cup portions of oats and ISO AGB and one Grapefruit juice and ISO AGB PWO. yummy...

about 3200 today, going down LOWWWWW this week: its caloric wasteland time again.
