forearms feel like they're working harder than chest

Whenever I work out my chest i end up leaving the gym with really tight forearms and a not so worked chest, at least it feels that way. I have long arms, how do i adjust my form (especially for bench press) so that i get the most out of my workout? Also, can anyone recommend a good routine for chest? I'm following gmanlax7's workout http://www.elitefitness.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=215858
which everyone seems to agree is a pretty good workout, but its kinda vague for a noob like me. What other excersises should I include? Right now I'm just doing the basics, bench press, flyes, pec dec. thats about it.

When you are just starting out... it wouldn't surprise me if your biceps hurt after doing chest. I have trained several "noobs" and they often complained of other bodyparts hurting while doing exercises...

Your forearms might not be very well developed, and could be sore just from gripping onto the bar... I suspect, that this will go away in a few weeks, as you become more accustomed to lifting.

Make sure your wrists aren't at an angle when you hold the bar. It's easy to have your wrists kind of flip back (think like a waiter holding a tray above his/her head). You want your wrist to be straight, like you're punching someone.

That may not be a problem at all, but I remember when I began benching this was a source of wrist tightness until I fixed it.
