Europeans and Canadians, what were your thoughts/reactions when 9/11 happened?

I figured there would be a war against somebody right away.

I do not think that the US "deserved " for this to happen, although some people disagree.

I was at work........at first people couldnt believe it. Then it was pretty much........oh fuck, now shits gonna hit the fan. People were glued tot he radio.

I remember scanning EF for updates. There were so many fuckers saying how they were gonna go out and kill the first arab/paki etc that they saw.

Remember cozmokramer who was a mod here for a while? He was in the city at the time........he disappearred for a while........had a few people worried Havent seen him here in ages.

here it was, classes were cancelled, its all anyone talked about for at least a week.
things were open, but nobody was in them though.

To tell the truth, most top level execs did not show up for work that day or were planning on coming in later. I bet it is just a coincidence just like a certain minority group that mostly did not show up either.
