Energy drinks

If youve tried ass lightening that is the best energy shot ive ever used. PM me if your willing to review it in exchange for a few free ones.
 
I used to drink them quite often myself but after getting kidney stones twice I quit. Have not had one since the last time I got the stones(had to have surgery, not cool at all LOL) unless you like long tubes shoved up your pee hole so they can pull a jagged little rock out, :biggrin:

The 5 hour energy dont seem so bad though!
 
when under stress or consuming caffeine, your adrenal glands continue to pump out adrenaline and cortisol. Your adrenal glands can eventually become damaged in the sense of producing less and less of adrenaline, cortisol and testosterone. This can lead to fatigue, weight gain, mood swings, cravings, insomina, unclear thinking and depression, which can be signs of adrenal burn out.

pwo stimulants, fat burners, coffee, and caffineited drink like pepsi and coke, energy drinks all affect the adrenal glands and as a result cortisol is consistently being produced when u continue to take these products. then it cycles as caffeine was originally believed to be out of the body in 4 hours, it actually can last upto 10 or so hours depending on ur genetic sensitivity to it which will keep u up at night, then u will take more coffee/energy drink/etc the next day and the spiral begins mofo
 
everyone has different goals and lifestyles .... for me if i have to stay awake late for whatever reason then I will take some. I will take a small shot of black coffee, or an ass lightning from NTBM. but I make sure I make up for the lost sleep with a power nap the next day as I never sleep in.

but i would not advise someone who is trying to "diet and bodybuilding" as this forum title says to consume this stuff everday and get hooked on them. use them when necessary, I always keep a few ass lightnings in my pantry just in case... cobra's post above sums up the reason it is catabolic.

again everyone should take a look at their individual goals, but i see no reason to depend on these EVERYDAY to workout if you are getting the proper amount of rest every night. if you need to take a 5 hour energy just to get pumped up for the gym then you need to re-examine your sleep patterns and diet which may be making you feel blah
